late-breaking news story
Sep. 19th, 2012 10:55 pmI just now finished inking a page.
On a weeknight. After work.
Usually I'm too beat after a day at the office to work on something intensive like inking, so I leave that for the weekend. But tonight, I dunno... I looked at those pencils and really wanted to do 'em... and they looked pretty easy. (Which they were -- took under an hour.)
Added bonus: the ink can dry overnight while I'm asleep, meaning that I'm not wasting valuable work time waiting. (Not that I usually do that, anyway -- often while a page is drying I will start roughing in the next one. But the principle still holds, sorta: having a page dry while I'm asleep just feels inherently efficient!)
If I can manage to find the inspiration and/or energy to do more weeknight inking, I could theoretically step up my productivity significantly. So I think this is cool.
