something I am grateful for today
Jan. 15th, 2013 06:49 pmToday was the 20th anniversary of the day I started working at my current office. (Too bad I was off sick today, I wasn't able to actually celebrate the event on-site!)
I'll be honest, there were times in the past when I didn't always love it there, but it eventually mutated into the best job I ever had. A combination of “becoming better at doing it” and “improved interpersonal chemistry”, I guess. For years now my co-workers have been some of my favourite and best-beloved people, I look forward to seeing them every day, they are my social life as well as my work life. I am in no hurry to retire from a place like this!
