something I am grateful for today

The fact that we can grow plants that can then be food. (I was out in the garden earlier looking at our rhubarb.) I dunno, there's something magical about seeing it happen. (Which of course says volumes about how our culture has been largely alienated from the food-production process that was normal for the majority of people over the majority of history, I guess...)
