Someone on a cartoonists forum asked, "If you could work on any comic, which would you choose?" And while there were some people who said "Spider-Man" or whatnot, my answer was "my new series I'm working on now". It took a minute for it to register with me that what I was saying was, in essence: "I am doing what I want -- there is nothing else I would rather be doing". And that strikes me as a rare and wonderful thing to be able to say....
