It's been heartening to see all the social media outpouring for Oliver the last few days. I haven't seen a poet's passing generate that kind of widespread response before.

TBH her work and her name had not consciously registered on my radar until the outpouring on the day of her passing. Nowadays I am trying to waste less time berating myself for being late to the party, and spending more time actually enjoying the party now that I'm there.
