something I am grateful for today

Last night, after a long absence, “our” bunny came back to visit our backyard. Unlike previous flying visits of a few seconds, though, this time it hung around our property for about an hour and a half, nibbling grass and stretching and resting and looking around and doing all kindsa bunny sutff.

I love bunnies. We used to get them all of the time at mom's house. Not so much here. Damn dogs are always chasing them, I think.

As a rule, a home with one or more dogs is not bunny-friendly... I don't think our old house ever had bunnies visit, but this new one [closer to the wilderness] has much better luck.
