on the way in to work this morning, I suddenly felt -- and thought -- that it's good to be alive

nothing happened to trigger it (that I am aware of).. it's a dull overcast day, nothing special or unusual was going on... and yet somehow it suddenly was all good, and I was filled with a little glow of quiet elation
