Easy: The Flash! I guess it was because he was capable of such wild yet [to my childhood mind] “highly scientific” things which other comics never seemed to even consider, I always felt like my mind was being stretched by him. Plus, Carmine Infantino's sleek imaginative drawings didn't hurt -- in fact, they were an excellent object lesson and a major early influence on me.
