The equinox: it's fall! That means I made it through another summer!

I dunno, I mean, I like summer and all, but I always find it challenging to confront a new one. I guess I wonder about things like “how many heat waves will there be” and “how bad” and all that. It's always kind of a relief when you hit this point where air-conditioner weather is pretty much all behind you for the year, and yet it's still “nice” out...

Heh. Expected high for my day is 96F.

I won't be surprised if my AC kicks in intermittently through November.

I think you'd adapt to the winter and spring months just fine. Imagine, for instance, a world in which snow shoveling is never required of you under any circumstances.

I'm with you on the ac issue but I also feel the same way about the furnace. I love fall weather and with it would last longer.
