something I am grateful for today

Noticing that I am consistently, stably happy over the long term, even in the face of circumstances which used to cause me great distress. Also noticing that the more time I spend drawing, the more pronounced this happiness becomes. For me, it's one of the secrets of living.


[An aside: I've also noticed that I tend to not sound quite so beatific when I'm behind the wheel of a car. Something about that situation makes me bitch and grumble about minutiae that, at other times, I would just let roll off silently. Not really sure why driving makes me so hypersensitive to negativities....]

Yeah, I can be groovy as heck, and then I start walking or taking a bus and suddenly the strangers around me are harshing my zen. (What are these phrases I'm using??)
