something I am grateful for today

My buffer.
My drawing productivity has been uneven this year so far -- mostly fluctuatiing health issues are the cause, I'd say -- which means sometimes a week will go by without me producing a new page. But since I have built a very healthy and substantial buffer, and am working far in advance of my publication date, this means that I can go a week (or even a month) without working on SK and never need to worry about missing my deadline. And then a little deliberate effort during those times when I'm feeling well and productive again, and I can re-fill some of the buffer I used during my fallow time.
It's hard to convey just how much I value the peace of mind that this arrangement gives me.
