something I am grateful for today

Huge sigh of relief: just booked an appointment with the guy who is going to appraise our property. And we already have one booked for the guy coming in to sign all the legal papers. This is all in reference to renewing our mortgage -- in one week it should all be done and wrapped up. [I am sure that they never made us jump through this many hoops, any other time we got a mortgage set up and renewed -- ya think this is all connected to the recent upsurge in mortgage frauds or something like that?]

We have recently done this as well. And yes, I think it is more difficult now.
