other comics creators seeing value in my work -- I've been seeing more positive comments from them recently, and I need to learn to accept them graciously and not simply dismiss them

also reminds me of one of my Great Brags: the time I was told "you draw well" by Joe Rubinstein... it's not effusive or gushing, but, given the credibility of the source, it carries weight...
