something I am grateful for today

I was at the doctor's this mornin for a routine appt, and while I was there a lady came in with a baby which I was able to look at for awhile.

I'm thankful for babies. I am so nuts about them, it's shameful. Aside from their obvious usefulness as a species survival mechanism, the world would be such a poorer place aesthetically and emotionally if there were no babies.
